Natives in VetMed

Natives in VetMed is 501(c)(3) non-profit organization that aims to enhance Indigenous representation in veterinary medicine through fostering connections among Indigenous professionals and centralize networking opportunities. Through these efforts we hope this provides support to pre-veterinary and veterinary students.

University Of Notre Dame Graduate School

The University of Notre Dame offers 60+ master’s and doctoral programs across:College of Arts and Letters, College of Engineering, College of Science, Keough School of Global Affairs and Doctoral programs in the Mendoza College of Business (primarily PhD)
You do not need a master’s degree to apply for most of our PhD programs.
Funding highlights:
Master’s: up to $20,000 annual stipend year + tuition support varies with program
PhD: full tuition + $35,500–$45,000 annual stipend + health insurance (covers dependents)
Guaranteed funding for up to 5 years

Merjent, Inc.

Founded in 2004 and headquartered in Minneapolis, Minn., Merjent provides a wide range of engineering, environmental, field, and restoration services across the U.S. in the pipeline, power generation and transmission, renewable fuels, and transportation sectors, including third-party contractor support. Merjent staff has the expertise to address agency and community concerns, obtain regulatory permits and approvals, maintain compliance, and ensure worker safety, while minimizing impacts on the environment.

NMSU Indian Resources Development

Indian Resources Development (IRD) is a statewide program, in the College of Agricultural, Consumer, and Environmental Sciences at New Mexico State University. IRD offers educational and professional development opportunities for Native American students in high school and college; and supports tribal nations in New Mexico in advancing their economic development goals in agriculture, natural resources, engineering, energy, business, workforce development, and education.

Carleton College

Founded in 1866, Carleton College is a private, coeducational liberal arts college of 2,007 students located in the historic river town of Northfield, Minnesota. Nationally recognized as the nation’s top college for undergraduate teaching, Carleton is known for its academic rigor, intellectual curiosity, and sense of humor. Carleton offers 33 majors and 40 minors in the arts, humanities, natural sciences, mathematics, and social sciences.
