Special Activities

All participants are REQUIRED to sign up during AISES National Conference registration in order to attend these special activities. Space is limited and some activities require a purchased ticket.


Wednesday, October 2 (Pre-conference day)

STEM Activity Day

Wednesday, October 2 from 12:00 p.m. - 4:00 p.m.
Audience - 250 pre-college students (middle school and high school only)

This fun, interactive day of activities will include hands-on STEM-themed ideas and challenges. Start your AISES National Conference off right with a full afternoon of STEM activities and information. This event includes chances to win great prizes! STEM Activity Day will feature a Marketplace where middle school and high school students and educators can learn more about AISES PK-12 opportunities! Food and beverages will be provided.


Thursday, October 3 (First conference day)

Student Hackathon

Thursday, October 3 from 4:30 p.m. - 9:30 p.m.
Audience - High school and college students

Strategize, discover, build your tech skills, and network! During this mini-Hackathon for high school, undergraduate and Masters/Doctoral Students, participants will work with industry professionals on a software project. Show your talent; test your limits; and have fun meeting interesting people while putting your best efforts forward. There will also be lots of FOOD, DRINKS, and PRIZES! Space is limited so hurry and register now!


Graduate Student Mixer

Thursday, October 3 from 7:30 p.m. - 9:00 p.m.
Audience - 150 graduate and master level college students

Be part of this fun and interactive networking session for Masters/Doctoral Students level student attendees. Light hors d'oeuvres will be served.


Friday, October 4 (Second conference day)

Professionals Networking Reception (Ticket purchase required)

Friday, October 4 from 6:30 p.m. - 8:30 p.m.
Audience - 200 professionals and college students

This fun and interactive event welcomes professional and student members that are about to become professionals to network in a comfortable setting. Students will also be able to interact with Professional Chapter representatives and talk about professional membership. The event is intended for professionals and college students that will soon be entering the work force. Space is limited. Light hors d’oeuvres will be served.


Saturday, October 5 (Final conference day)

Student Awards Luncheon

Saturday, October 5 from 11:45 a.m. - 1:15 p.m.
Audience - 500 middle school, high school, and college students

This event honors the incredible STEM talent at AISES from scholarship awardees to interns, as well as the exemplary chapters who power, connect, and elevate the AISES mission. All student research presenters should attend the Luncheon as research award winners will be announced.


Closing Banquet

Saturday, October 5 from 6:00 p.m. - 8:30 p.m.
Audience - All registered attendees.

The Closing Awards Banquet features live entertainment, pays tribute to the AISES Professional of the Year Award winners, Partner Service Award recipients, and much more!
