Center of American Indian and Minority Health & the Masonic Cancer Center, University of Minnesota

Center of American Indian and Minority Health (CAIMH) is educating, recruiting and conducting Research to make a positive impact on American Indian and Alaska Native health.
The Masonic Cancer Center partners with the CAIMH to reduce cancer's burden in Minnesota and throughout the world. Both are housed at the University of Minnesota

Jack Kent Cooke Foundation

The Jack Kent Cooke Foundation is dedicated to advancing the education of exceptionally promising students who have financial need. Since 2000, the Foundation has awarded $304 million in scholarships to more than 3,400 students from 8th grade through graduate school, along with comprehensive academic advising, career pathway counseling and other support services. The Foundation has also provided $136 million in grants to organizations that serve such students.

UW School of Medicine - Center for Indigenous Health

The University of Washington Center for Indigenous located at the UW School of Medicine aims to increase the number of American Indian and Alaska Natives entering the medical field to become physicians in Washington State, and by proxy the WWAMI Region, by recruiting K-12 and college level students into ecosystem pathway programs with the goal of getting them successfully into and through medical school with the goal to combat the shortage of Indigenous Doctors working for Tribal Nations, Urban Indian Communities and also entering Academic Medicine.
