Hotels and Travel

The AISES official conference hotels now have limited space available at the conference rates. This means that the conference hotel rate is no longer available, but the hotel may still have rooms available at a different rate. Once the hotel room block is sold out for a specific date, the hotel nor AISES can offer the contracted hotel rate.

Hotel reservations fluctuate as guests cancel and change their travel dates. When this happens, the hotel room blocks may open back up and based on your timing, you might be able to get the conference rate through the booking link or calling the hotel directly.

To assist you in your hotel search, AISES compiled a list of other hotels that are near the Henry B. González Convention Center. However, AISES has not investigated these properties nor conducted site visits, therefore, we cannot ensure the condition or services of these properties. This list does not indicate that AISES is recommending these properties nor is it a full list of all the hotel properties in the area, but simply provides it to ease your hotel search.

To ensure the success of the National Conference, AISES has negotiated and secured rooms at the hotel listed on this page. AISES does not solicit conference attendees and exhibitors by telephone or email to make hotel room reservations for them. To ensure the integrity of the reservations process attendees should coordinate their own hotel reservations with one of AISES’ official conference hotels, utilizing the provided registration links or phone numbers to receive the discounted group rates.

San Antonio International Airport (SAT) is the closest airport to the convention center 8.6 miles away from the Henry B. González Convention Center.

Ground Transportation

The San Antonio International Airport offers a variety of ground transportation options, from major rental car companies to taxicabs, limousines, and Rideshare companies (Uber and Lyft) all conveniently located at designated areas of the terminal building. Those traveling with a group may want to consider renting a vehicle or sharing a cab or ride share (Lyft/Uber) to save money and for added convenience.
