Eligibility
Professionals and postdoctoral researchers conducting STEM research or applying STEM in professional practice, including:
- Postdoctoral Researchers
- Faculty (any rank, any institution type)

- STEM Professionals in Industry, Government, or Tribal Organizations
- Independent Researchers
Across all STEM fields and applications:
- Basic and applied research
- Community-engaged and participatory studies

- Policy, practice, and implementation work
- Interdisciplinary and translational research
Program Structure
This is a professional exchange program, not a competition. There is no evaluation, judging, or awards. All accepted abstracts will be presented.
Purpose
- Share research and innovations with colleagues
- Exchange ideas across disciplines and career stages
- Connect with emerging Indigenous STEM professionals
- Mentor students and early-career researchers
- Build collaborative networks
Presentation Formats
- Oral Presentations: 10-minute presentation + 5-minute Q&A
- Poster Presentations: Visual poster with informal discussions
Submission Review
Research abstracts will be submitted using an Indigenous-centered framework that asks you to situate yourself in your work and connect your research to community impact.
Abstracts are reviewed for:
- Clarity and completeness
- Alignment with AISES mission and conference theme
- Contribution to Indigenous STEM knowledge and practice
- Appropriateness for professional audience
